-- Ways To Use The Brochure This My Referral Club brochure was designed to make it easy for all club members to promote the club to just about everyone. Who could be unhappy to receive a great looking advertising piece that could possibly benefit them for so little money? So just hand it out and don’t worry about the consequences.
Since all sales is just a numbers game, we think that if you hand out 10 or 15 brochures, you will get a new club member. This is a very easy way to add members to your club.
| The Brochure actually has several intended purposes and audiences. |
1) People who might want to join the Club
2) People who might want to hire a member in the Club right now
3) People who may know someone who could use this information
4) People who will keep brochure for future use
5) People who may just pass the brochure on to someone else

So, WHO, should you give a brochure to?
Hand it to people you would like to do business with or have join your Club, or who might know someone who would. The brochures are relatively inexpensive and there is great value in people having a copy of the immediate Contact Information available from the insert sheet. Hopefully, you'll pass them out to many of the people you come in contact with. You never know what their reaction will be. One thing for sure, if you don't hand it out-- you're missing an opportunity.
What can you say to initiate giving people the brochure?
It can be as simple as: "I'm involved with a group of
professionals in a referral club. Could I give you one of our
brochures?"
Just hand them the brochure... If they are someone who might be
interested in joining, you could invite them to your next meeting. Otherwise you can tell them how they might use the brochure (from list above), i.e. "Please keep the brochure... if you need a
professional that you can trust, please contact someone in our Club. Or, if you know someone who needs a professional or might be
interested in joining our Club, please let them know about us.
Other creative ways to use the brochure---
* Who cuts or styles your hair? Does your nails? Gives you a
massage? ... see if they'll take a few brochures and give them to
interested people as a favor to you.
* If you know other professionals, friends, relatives ... ask them who they can think of who would be interested in your Club, and give them a few brochures.
* Have a favorite coffee shop or hang out that has a bulletin board?
Consider posting a brochure on the bulletin board. When you return, if it's gone, post another one. (you can also attach your business card)
* Become more outgoing. Strike up conversations with people of
interest. Almost always when you meet people they exchange what they do for a living. After hearing about them, tag on to the end of 'what you do' by saying, "I'm also involved in an unusual referral club, one that’s on the web. In fact, I just happen to have a brochure with me if you'd like to see it."
